At RentalCarScan, we act as an intermediary platform connecting customers with car rental providers around the world. As such, refund policies may vary depending on the rental provider you choose. Please read the following terms carefully before making a booking.

🔁 General Refund Terms

• RentalCarScan does not collect or hold payments directly for bookings. All payments are processed by the rental provider selected at the time of booking.

• Any request for a refund must be handled according to the terms and conditions of the car rental provider.

• We are not responsible for decisions made by third-party rental companies regarding refund eligibility, timing, or method of payment.

📅 Cancellations & Modifications

• Most rental companies allow free cancellation up to 24–48 hours before the pickup time. After this window, cancellation fees or no refunds may apply.

• If you wish to cancel or modify your booking, please use the cancellation link provided in your confirmation email or contact us at support@rentalcarscan.com, and we will assist in communicating with the provider.

❌ No-Show Policy

• If you fail to collect the car at the agreed time and location without prior notice, no refund may be issued.

• Some providers may retain the full rental amount in case of a no-show.

📄 Refund Processing

• If approved by the provider, refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days.

• RentalCarScan does not charge any fees for assisting with refund communication.

⚠️ Special Circumstances

Refunds may be granted in exceptional cases such as:

• Flight cancellations due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, war)

• Mistaken double bookings

• Errors in pricing or availability

These will be handled on a case-by-case basis and require documentation.
